Press Medical Training, LLC is a private healthcare education provider. Programs are delivered by qualified, licensed instructors and aligned with applicable state requirements. The institution is committed to providing high-quality, affordable training that prepares students for entry-level roles and ongoing professional development in healthcare.

  • A hybrid and in‑person program designed to prepare students for the Nebraska Nurse Aide Competency Examination.

    Students learn: - Medical terminology - Communication & interpersonal skills - Basic nursing skills & personal care - Infection control & safety - Mental health needs - Residents’ rights - Abuse recognition and reporting

    Hours: 76‑hour course Schedule: Tues/Thurs/Sat for 3 weeks Requirements: 70% final grade + all required clinical competencies

    • Scheduled Class Starts (2025–2026):
      12/2/25, 1/6/26, 2/3/26, 3/3/26, 3/31/26, 4/28/26, 5/26/26, 6/23/26, 7/21/26, 8/25/26, 9/22/26, 10/20/26
    • Tuition:
      • - Total: $515 (includes books & background checks)
      • - $150 non‑refundable registration fee (applied toward tuition)
      • - Tuition must be paid in full before the first class unless a payment agreement is approved.
  • Hybrid + in‑person program covering safe medication administration.

    Students learn: - The three components of medication administration - Observation, monitoring, and documentation - Side effects, interactions, contraindications

    Hours: 40‑hour course
    Assessments: Chapter quizzes, vocabulary quizzes, skills competency, final exam (up to 3 attempts)

    • Hybrid first week
      In‑person labs: Monday & Tuesday 9a.m. – 2:15p.m.
      Classes not held during holiday weeks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc.)
    • Tuition:
      Total: $395 (includes all books) - $150
      non‑refundable registration fee
  • American Heart Association (AHA) approved.

    Includes: - Online foundational theory - In‑person skills testing - Psychomotor competency assessment

    Certification: Valid for 2 years

  • Hands‑on and theory‑based training covering: - CPR & AED use - First aid for common medical emergencies - Safety, bleeding control, burns, choking, etc.

  • For individuals ages 11+.

    Covers: - CPR/AED & First Aid basics - Child safety & emergency readiness - Responsible care practices

    Requirements:

Jonnell DeversOwner & Executive Nurse Educator
Jonnell Devers is a Registered Nurse and Owner of Press Medical Training, LLC, with over 20 years of healthcare experience. For the past nine years, she has worked as a Rehabilitation Nurse and Clinical Supervisor, managing nursing teams and providing care for patients across diverse medical needs. Jonnell is also a licensed CPR and BLS Instructor, certified through both the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. Passionate about teaching and mentorship, she is dedicated to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals with the skills, confidence, and compassion to deliver exceptional patient care.
Tiah Blackburn
Tiah BlackburnOwner & Executive Administrator
As an Owner of Press Medical Training, Tiah Blackburn brings over 25 years of experience in supportive adult and child care, along with a lifelong passion for service and education. A Licensed Assisted Living Facility Administrator, BLS/CPR Instructor, Consultant, and Mentor, she combines practical expertise with compassionate leadership. Tiah is dedicated to empowering future healthcare professionals through guidance, mentorship, and hands-on training—helping them build the confidence and skills to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Jacqueline Carter
Jacqueline CarterOwner & Lead BLS/CPR Instructor
Jacqueline Carter is an Owner of Press Medical Training and serves as the Lead BLS/CPR Instructor for the center’s life-saving programs. With years of experience in emergency response, healthcare training, and community education, she is passionate about equipping individuals and professionals with the skills needed to respond confidently in critical situations. Jacqueline is certified through the American Heart Association and leads instruction in BLS, CPR, First Aid, ACLS and PALS courses. Her dedication to quality training and her supportive teaching style help students build both competence and confidence—empowering them to make a difference when it matters most.
Camille Brewer, APRN Advanced Practice Nurse & Instructor
Camille Brewer is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with over 45 years of nursing experience and a lifelong passion for community healthcare. Her extensive background spans multiple clinical settings, where she has provided compassionate, patient-centered care and demonstrated exceptional leadership. Camille is highly skilled in curriculum development, instruction, and supervision of both nurse aide and medication aide students. Her depth of experience and commitment to teaching help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world clinical practice, ensuring students are fully prepared to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Donna Harrison, RN Nurse Instructor
Donna Harrison is a Registered Nurse with over 26 years of clinical experience in long-term care and rehabilitation settings. She brings a wealth of practical knowledge and a deep commitment to quality education. Throughout her career, Donna has specialized in training, evaluating, and supervising nurse aide students, ensuring they develop both the technical skills and compassionate approach needed to excel in healthcare. Her patient-centered teaching style and strong clinical background make her an invaluable part of the Press Medical Training instructional team.
